Job Overview
We are seeking a Buyers Assistant to support procurement activities by assisting with category planning and execution aligned with company objectives and guidelines. This role involves providing daily administrative support to enhance category performance, including sales and margin optimization. The successful candidate will be customer-focused, detail-oriented, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 1–2 years retail experience
- Proficiency in SAP and BW systems
- Competent in Microsoft Outlook and Word
- Strong Excel skills

Key Responsibilities
- Generate and analyze ad hoc statistical and exception reports

- Participate in buyer negotiations with suppliers
- Monitor and manage buying contracts and service level agreements with distribution centers
- Ensure alignment of product master data across internal and external systems
- Review and report on aged and exit stock
- Collaborate with stakeholders on sales uplift and stock management
- Investigate pricing queries for the buyer
- Oversee product lifecycle activities and monitor new product performance
