Requirements
- Grade 9 Report
- Grade C Security Certificate
- Compliance with PSIRA registration
- Ability to stand for up to 4 hours
- Basic computer skills
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Excellent sense of judgment

Primary Role of this Position:
This position is dedicated to delivering comprehensive access control, perimeter patrolling, security system operations, and overall security services.
The primary objective is to guarantee the safety and security of employees, stakeholders/clients, assets, and information, as well as the integrity of buildings and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with all aspects of access control protocols.
- Issue and collect access control permits for individuals entering and departing.
- Escort visitors from the reception/access control point throughout the building.
- Conduct walkthrough detection screenings for employees and visitors to prevent the entry of weapons and unauthorized items.
- Register and secure private firearms in designated facilities.
- Supervise X-ray examinations of baggage, preventing the entry of unauthorized items.
- Record all private property brought into the building in the appropriate registers.
- Monitor and authorize the removal of assets from the premises with proper permits.
- Respond to and check the operation of electronic security systems.
- Document and address any security breaches detected during shifts.
- Conduct office inspections to ensure compliance with security procedures.
- Safeguard abandoned vulnerable assets in risk areas.
- Inspect the building perimeter and electronic security systems at the start and end of each shift.
- Perform vehicle searches as necessary.
- Undertake any additional security duties as reasonably required.
